Treasure Trove
The British Craft Trade Fair at Harrogate is an important part of my working year. It’s where I get to catch up with existing gallery representatives as well potential new ones. As storytelling becomes an increasingly important part of my work I decided this year that I would set my stand up to reflect this and so tried to recreate a storybook glen within my 2x1m square space.
As well as letting me showcase my work, BCTF is also important for catching up with other makers. I love seeing what they have been up to and so try to get to the venue early in the mornings so that I can have a good look around. Here are a few of the things that caught my eye this year.
I came home with quite a few pieces for me, friends and family as well so I will try to get those photographed and share them with you later.
