Penguin
Penguin
One of my favourite things as a child was visiting Edinburgh Zoo and seeing their penguin parade. I loved the fact that the penguins had the choice of whether to come out of their pen or not, and that there was every chance they would misbehave on their walk around. I recognise a lot of people don't like zoos, but I have always admired Edinburgh for the research projects they run and the way the animals are housed. In a world where we are rapidly destroying natural habitats I think they have their place in the preservation of animal species.
