Rainforest ceramic brooch

I first doodled these leaves at the Palm House in Liverpool, if you haven't been it's well worth a trip! Beautiful space and lush greenery. Much cheaper and less carbon footprint than travelling to Borneo... 

The 4.5cm square, ceramic brooch is hand painted and then sealed with a clear lacquer. A silver plated brooch back is glued onto the reverse making this a wearable, mini artwork.

A simple way to add a splash of colour to an outfit!
