Selling through shops and galleries is a great way to broaden your audience, build your brand and support your public event and online sales activity. This business support session will look at preparing you and your business for wholesale trading.
There are many differences between business-to-consumer and business-to-business selling. I'll guide you through all aspects of working with trade buyers and include some top tips on how to make your product/s stand out in a crowded market.
Some of the things we might consider...
- pricing for trade and linking it to your overall RRPs
- trade product offer - you don't need to offer everything you make to trade buyers and you probably shouldn't!
- trade fair planning
- how to identify and approach shops and galleries
- trade paperwork including terms and conditions, SOR contracts and invoicing
This session is suitable whether you are new to trade selling or a seasoned pro! Think of it in terms of your home's interior or your haircut - over the years trends and buying behaviours change, as someone providing a customer facing product or service it's important you have a strategy for addressing those changes, even if that's an informed decision to embrace nostalgia!
What’s included...
- 60 minute private Zoom or face-to-face session
